Fresh Rhea & Emu Eggs

Our beautiful ranch in New Mexico is home to many ostrich, emus and rheas.  This year 2010 we were collecting fresh eggs from all 3 different birds during the month of April.  The ostrich started laying eggs in February.  The emus were laying eggs until May.  And the rheas started laying eggs in April.

Our new Emu Egg Production Season started November 13, 2010 and will continue through the Winter months to April 2011.   The Rheas should start laying eggs again in about May 2011.
